Yesterday we told you that Rocksteady has decided to postpone the release of Batman: Arkham Knight until 23 June. It's certainly understandable that they want a bug-free conclusion to their Batman trilogy, even if eager fans have a short while extra to wait as a result.
However, the story doesn't end there as a new rumour has emerged since that announcement was made and it points to another potential factor that may (or may not) be involved, with it being suggested that the first two games in Rocksteady's Arkham trilogy might be making an appearance on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 later this year.
It was IGN Italy that reported that Warner Bros. are apparently going to release Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on the curren-gen consoles. According to the rumour, they'll release the remastered pair - not Batman: Arkham Origins - before the end of 2015.
Take this one with a huge pinch of salt for now. Warner Bros. have been questioned about this rumour, but they're only offering a "no comment" at this moment in time.
