The recent Intel Extreme Masters Pyeongchang event saw a StarCraft 2 championship take place, and history was made here as Sasha 'Scarlett' Hostyn became the first woman to win a premier StarCraft 2 championship after she beat Kim 'sOs' Yoo Jin 4-1 in the grand final of the competition.
In the tournament 18 of the best players from around the world faced off against one another in the place where the Winter Olympics will soon be held, and Scarlett performed well throughout, carrying this to the grand final as well, earning herself $50,000 USD.
