Gaming chair company Secretlab has announced a partnership with esports organiser PGL (Professional Gamers League) that will see PGL competition participants and casters use Secretlab's gaming chairs from now on, both for training and official matches, starting with the Dota 2 Major in Bucharest this month.

Ian Alexander, Secretlab's co-founder and managing director, had this to say about the partnership: "Being former competitive Starcraft II gamers ourselves, nothing comes close to the thrill and rush of excitement at these major tournaments. I first took notice of PGL during the Manila Major—their production quality is second to none and partnering with them was a no-brainer as we continue our support for esports around the world. From today, we will provide their tournament players and casters with the best chairs they've ever sat in."

"We at PGL understand the importance of well-engineered gaming chairs, both from our own experiences as producers behind the scenes and from interacting with pro-players every day," PGL CEO Silviu Storie added. "We are fortunate to have a friend and a partner in Secretlab, who, like us, share the vision that to obtain incredible performances, you need the proper support."

To remind you, the Bucharest Major will see 16 of the best Dota 2 teams converge to fight for the $1 million USD prize pool, as well as the chance to earn qualification points for future competitions like The International, and group stages start from March 4. Then we'll have the PGL Spring Invitational for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds from March 22, so it's a busy month for PGL.
