There are only a few international major events in the Valorant Champions Tour calendar each year, which makes each one a big deal. The first of the 2024 season has now come to a close, with Masters Madrid in the books after a couple of weeks of action.

Following eight teams flying out to Spain to compete, only one can and has been crowned victor and for this year it's Sentinels who are back on the mountaintop. The team managed to overcome and defeat Gen.G Esports in the grand final, to claim a slate of points useful for qualification to the end of season championship, all while also securing a nice reward of $250,000 for the team's efforts.

Next up for the VCT will be more regional action, all to see which teams have qualified for the Shanghai Masters that is planned for May/June. No doubt Sentinels will be looking to defend its current title as a Major champion at this event too.
