The Shanghai Dragons have been quite a formidable team in the Overwatch League for some time now, despite the fact that the team went winless in its inaugural season. But 2023 will likely see a change in this dynamic, as the Dragons will be making a bunch of serious changes as part of the current offseason.

As announced in a tweet, five members of the Dragons will not be returning in 2023, with those individuals being some of the most influential and impactful names on the team over the past few years. Specifically, it will be Kim "Fleta" Byung-sun, Koo "Fate" Pan-seung, Kang "Void" Jun-woo, Lee "WhoRU" Seung-jun, and Yoon "BeBe" Hee-chang who are leaving.

This does leave a few members on the Dragons' roster, a trio that will likely be the basis for the team rebuilding. Those three players are the Support duo of Lee "LeeJaeGon" Jae-gon and Kim "IZaYaKI" Min-chul, and DPS Lee "LIP" Jae-won.

As for who the Dragons will be signing to its revamped roster, we'll no doubt hear more over the coming months.
