Shantae: Half-genie Hero on Kickstarter

The talented folks at WayForward are the latest studio to take to Kickstarter to fund their next game project - Shantae: Half-genie Hero.

Obviously a sequel in the Shantae series (this is the fourth entry) it's a platformer belly-dance, hair whip, run and jump your way through interconnected levels. It's coming out on PC, PS3, PS4, Wii U, Xbox 360 and Xbox One next fall and in fact you'll be able to pick any of these platforms if you back the project with $15 or more.

The campaign is off to a solid start with $96,914 of the target $400,000 pledged with 29 days remaining of the campaign.
