Sony acquires Insomniac Games as Worldwide Studio

The Spider-Man developer has clearly impressed Sony, and it's big news for both sides of the deal.

Insomniac Games has done Sony proud with Spider-Man, bringing Marvel's hero to life in the PS4-exclusive game that was a big success when it released last September, and it seems that this has led to big news for both parties, as Sony revealed on Twitter.

This news is that Insomniac Games has now joined PlayStation's Worldwide Studios, meaning we can expect many more exclusives from the developer, which has also brought us titles like Ratchet and Clank and Sunset Overdrive.
