TSM has terminated the contract of Mingyi "Spica" Lu, following the team's recent loss to Evil Geniuses in the League of Legends Championship Series summer playoffs. As mentioned by Spica in a tweet, the Jungler is now a free agent for the first time since he originally joined TSM back in April 2019.

"TSM has terminated my contract so I am a free agent effective today," said Spica. "Thanks to all the fans for the 4 years of overwhelming support and I'm excited for whats coming next."

As for what's next for Spica that has yet to be revealed, likewise, we are yet to know who TSM has in mind to come onto the team and to take over Spica's role.
