The Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Katowice is set to return in March 2019, and StarCraft II is going to be among the games that feature at the event, Blizzard just announced.
With a grand prize that will be at least $250K (players who purchase an in-game War Chest in the month of December can help boost that figure up to $400K), the best players from around the globe (including new world champ Serral) will no doubt want to be in attedance.
Online qualifiers will begin in January, while an on-site qualifier at ESL's studio in Katowice will take place between February 25-26. Then, between February 28 and March 1 players like Serral will get involved, before the round of 12 becomes the grand finals between March 2-3.
For more information on next year's event, this is a good place to start.
