Stardew Valley developer ConcernedApe has taken to Twitter to share some big news for fans of the game, as the upcoming 1.4 update is set to be pretty hefty.
"Hey everyone, just wanted to share this screenshot from the upcoming 1.4 update! It's a big one, & this image only reveals a fraction of what's coming. Featured here is a new farm map called Four Corners that's perfect for the much requested "separate money" option in multiplayer," the tweet reads, with the screenshot provided below:
ConcernedApe clarifies that this map will be available in single-player as well, and as for money earned before this update in multiplayer, we get the following clarification:
"If you have an existing multiplayer farm, money will remain shared, but you can go to the Mayor's house to separate (or re-join) the money at any time. If you separate it, the current funds will be split evenly among the players. For new farms you can set the option at start"
PC will get this update first, followed by console and mobile, and in the replies ConcernedApe adds that "you're still working together to achieve common goals, it's just a little more independent (which leads to some interesting gameplay)".
Speaking of mobile, the game just landed on Android last month, which adds another platform to the already extensive list available, including those with multiplayer like the Nintendo Switch.
