CS:GO fans are gearing up for the upcoming Major competition taking place at the Intel Extreme Masters event in Katowice this month and next, but now sources have allegedly told Dexerto that Valve has assigned the 15th Major to StarLadder, who will host an event in Berlin with English production.

If true this will be the first Major StarLadder has received, also being their first event in Germany. We can also expect it to happen at the same time as the Faceit London Major in September last year, and would follow in the footsteps of several successful Dota 2 competitions for Valve's game.

This is certainly big news is true, and comes before the New Challengers Stage of Katowice has begun. Just recently we also heard details on the Viewer Pass for the event too, so there's still plenty to see in Katowice before we look ahead to the future.

Would StarLadder be a good choice?
