SteamWorld Heist might get iron man mode as DLC

Steambots have taken to space and in this interview with Image & Form CEO Brjann Sigurgeirsson we learn more about the rather peculiar tactical side scroller.

"This time we're following Captain Piper who is running a band of ragtag robots heisting other robot ships and so on. And they're only beating up bad guys."

We also discussed the possiblity of an iron man mode as there is no permadeath as default (it was deemed too punishing), and ironman might make it in or be added later on (as DLC) as it will require some changes.

Since the interview Image & Form have confirmed the release has been pushed back to a undisclosed "2015" date. Image & Form also released the first gameplay footage from the game showing off Captain Piper and a couple of her crew mates.
