Steel Division 2 announced, trailer and screens included

Steel Division 2 is a sequel to 2017's real time strategy game Steel Division: Normandy 44 from French developer Eugen Systems.

The sequel takes place during summer of 1944, when Soviet Russia launched a gigantic offensive called Operation Bagration. The game features 10 vs. 10 multiplayer battles and "hundreds of new historically authentic units".

Steel Division also has turn-based single-player "Dynamic Strategic Campaigns", as the press release calls them:

"Each turn equals half a day, allowing players to form their strategy and plan their next encounter, while carefully managing their units and supply lines. Prospective commanders will be able to control entire army corps and subordinate battalions consisting of thousands of men," the developers explain.

Of course, a bunch of improvements compared to the original game have been promised, and more info will be given during Gamescom this year. Check out the list of key features below the video and screenshots.
