Ubisoft has just released an update for Steep that makes quite a few changes that players have been asking for.
The update includes tweaks to jumping accuracy, reduced destructiveness of G-force impact, improved Mountain View display, and, much more.
They've also implemented something for the competitive players out there, the Steep World Tour Tournament. This is a monthly competition series where players will have to achieve certain goals to progress to the next round. The first challenge is called Backcountry. Here, players must score 5,000 points while racing on the cursed mountain to stay in the competition. Complete this challenge, and go through to the first official round that starts on Monday.
As if that wasn't enough, they will start to pick out some of the most outstanding player-created challenges and make them widely available as new Community Challenges. Community Challenges might also feature the developers themselves, so let's try to take them down a notch.
