Super Mario Maker gets Checkpoint Flag, more tweaks

On November 5, Super Mario Maker users on Wii U will be able to download a free update which adds a handful of interesting tweaks to both the gameplay side of things, and the editor features.

Perhaps the most requested feature is the Checkpoint Flag which should help during the really difficult levels. Other nice touches include a new dual-mode for the Fire Flower, a new official maker area for Nintendo-created levels, special event online courses, and even a more challenging version of the Gnat Attack easter egg.
