Super Mario Maker has sold over one million copies

Super Mario Maker is an exceptional game, a fabulous tribute to 30 years spent playing the most popular character in gaming, and many players have decided to celebrate its anniversary by getting the new game. In fact, since its launch on September 11, Nintendo has sold more than one million units.

This means that in less than a month Super Mario Maker became the 32nd Super Mario game to exceed one million units sold, which is not only a breath of fresh air for the Wii U, but also a sign that sales might reach much higher numbers. As for the global sales of all Mario games, they have already surpassed a staggering 310 million units sold worldwide.
