Nightdive Studios' System Shock Remake blew past its initial Kickstarter target of $900,000 US dollars, and ended up with $1,350,700. The project was a reality, then, and began its journey towards launch. We were told that they were aiming to release it in December 2017, but that aim was a bit off.
A recent update on their Kickstarter page reveals that the game will be out "by Q2 of 2018". It's still uncertain whether or not it'll be a simultaneous launch, but they hope it will be.
The game was still far off so a delay doesn't make that much of an impact in our eyes, and to repeat ourselves: delaying a game is usually for the best. Have you played anything is an exception?
