Team Liquid is making a few changes to its Valorant line-up, following a year where it has struggled to beat the best teams in the world in search of one of the few limited and elusive Valorant Champions Tour Champions slots.

The change will see James "Kryptix" Affleck stepping away from the team as he deals with "some personal issues". With that in mind, Nabil "Nivera" Benrlitom will be filling in for him, giving him a chance to play alongside his brother Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom.

Liquid has noted that while Kryptix will be taking a step back, they support his decision, and "hope to see him back soon".

The next event on Liquid's Valorant calendar will see the team taking to the Last Chance Qualifier, in the hopes of securing one of the final slots in the Champions level event in the VCT, scheduled for this December. The Last Chance Qualifier will start on October 10 and will run until October 17.
