The annual biggest event in the competitive Dota 2 calendar has now concluded, as The International 2023 has officially wrapped up. With this being the case, we now know who has been dubbed victor and walked away with the lion's share of the rather reasonable $3.15 million prize pool.

Compared to prior years, this year's event featured a much more subtle prize pool, with it being $15 million less than what The International 2022 offered. Still, considering Team Spirit, this year's victor, will be heading home with $1.4 million in prize money after defeating Gaimin Gladiators in yesterday's grand final, the team no doubt feels more than compensated for its success.

This result caps off a very impressive 2023 for Team Spirit, who also won the Riyadh Masters at Gamers8 in the summer, and the DreamLeague Season 21, making for a year of almost $7 million in cash prize money. This result has also seen Team Spirit back on top, after most recently winning The International back in 2021.
