The biggest event at the Gamers8 festival in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is without a doubt the Dota 2 Riyadh Masters. The tournament spanned a couple of weeks and featured a mega $15 million prize pool, and now that very event has concluded, meaning we know who is heading home with the lion's share of the prize pool.

After a very competitive final weekend, Team Spirit managed to stake its claim and be crowned the victor of the tournament. This result has seen the team heading home with $5 million in prize money, and a bit of extra spending cash for producing the "Best Team Content" and for Illya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk being a runner-up in the MVP race.

As for where the rest of the teams placed, Team Liquid came in second, netting $2.5 million, Talon Esports came in third, winning $1.7 million, and Gaimin Gladiators took fourth, landing $1.2 million in prize money.

The next major event in the competitive Dota 2 calendar will be The International 2023, which is set for October 12-19 and will be hosted in Seattle, USA and offering no doubt a very, very large cash prize pool.
