The biggest tournament in the Dota 2 competitive calendar came to a close recently, following a hiatus last year due to the pandemic. The International 10 was this very event, a tournament recognised for its massive prize pool which this year reached over $40 million.
The event started on October 7 and ran for ten days, with the final taking place on Sunday, October 17. 18 teams were invited to compete, but at the end of it all, it was Team Spirit and PSG.LGD who made it to the finals.
It was here that after five games of action that Team Spirit was crowned the victor, taking home the title of champions, and also over $18 million in cash prizes. PSG.LGD also didn't go home empty handed, with second place also netting the team over $5 million.
With this victory, the Dota 2 competitive year has come to a close. We'll have to wait for more information from Valve to hear when we can expect the 2022 season to kick off.
