Esports organisation Tempo Storm has announced that they have signed Hearthstone player William 'Amnesiac' Barton to their team, a player who's had experience before with Team Archon and NRG Esports as well as tournament successes like the Americas Winter Championship of the Hearthstone Championship Tour 2016.
"My goal for my legacy isn't to go down as someone who got Babbling Booked in the quarterfinals of Worlds... it isn't even just to go down as a good player," Amnesiac said. "I aim to go down as one of the greatest of all time, and if that takes winning a World Championship, then I won't rest until I achieve that goal. I joined Tempo Storm because I know that we can be the best in the world. I play Hearthstone to compete and win, so to be able to join my long-time friends on the best team in the world was a no-brainer."
Amnesiac comes into the team alongside Muzzy and JustSaiyan, and all three will compete in the upcoming HCT 2018, which with its new format requires approved organisations to select three players to represent them each season, with the top 10 teams worldwide receiving a cash prize at the end based on the combined point totals of the teams.
A trailer for Amnesiac's signing can be found down below, but do you think Tempo Storm has a chance of competing this year?
