The Boston Uprising Overwatch League team has been making some serious changes over the course of the 2022 season, as only a few months back the team released a few of its players, before then proceeding to add new names, all while also seeing a series of management changes that included the release of general manager Chris "HuK" Loranger (who had been with the team since its beginning).

Well today's news is in a similar vein to these prior developments, as the organisation has announced that head coach Kim "Lori" Seung-hyun has been released, and that Valentin "Ascoft" Wulfman will be taking over the role of head coach for the rest of the 2022 season.

"Today we've made the decision to let Head Coach Lori go," said the Uprising in a statement. "We thank him for this service over the last two years and wish him the best in future endeavours. With this move, Ashcroft will be taking over the Head Coaching duties for the rest of the 2022 season."

The Uprising will next play later this week, when the team takes on the Houston Outlaws as part of its Summer Showdown campaign.
