The Bureau: Xcom Declassified is set to launch on August 23, and once it has been released 2K Marin will be supporting the game with additional narrative-driven content. The amount of content hasn't been revealed, but we're told it will be available on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
That said, the first DLC pack will be exclusively released on Xbox 360, although it's not specified what kind of content this initial release will be. Those who pre-order from participating retailers will receive an additional mission - Codebreakers - which will send players to track down and decrypt a mysterious enemy code. GAME pre-orders will also get an exclusive in-game item, the Light Plasma Pistol.
Morgan Gray, development director at 2K Marin, said: "The alternate 1962 universe that we've created for The Bureau is vast and there are many more stories to tell about the early days of Xcom. We're excited that our stories will provide a new perspective on the war effort, much like how our critically acclaimed Minvera's Den DLC for Bioshock 2 allowed us to present a unique perspective of Rapture."
A handful of new screens, and the new Battle Focus Trailer have been released in support of this announcement, and can be seen below.
