The Dragon's Trap remake adds Wonder Girl

And you'll be able to play more in human form after finishing the game.

Publisher DotEmu and developer Lizardcube are approaching the release date for the remake of the classic platformer slash RPG Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap, but in addition to the 8-bit retro mode that features the original visuals they've also got another surprise in store for us, Wonder Girl. You'll be able to choose whether to play the game as either Wonder Boy or Wonder Girl in the remade classic.

But for those in the know playing as the human form is something you only do at the very start of the game, before you're transformed into various animal forms. However, Lizardcube also confirmed that you'll be able to continue playing the game after its finished (and you've been returned to human form) this time around, as you can see in the video below.
