The Game Director of The Elder Scrolls Online, Matt Firor of Zenimax Online Studios, revealed a launch trailer for the upcoming Dark Brotherhood DLC, coming to consoles Tuesday June 14.

The trailer was extremely dark, depicting assassinations and violence, as to be expected of the Dark Brotherhood. The whole trailer seemed reminiscent of previous games, and given Firor looked back on Oblivion while introducing the trailer, maybe this was intentional.

Firor was also keen to point out that the Elder Scrolls Online community has been very active and wanted to thank the community that has now reached seven million players.

Another announcement from Firor was that the game was getting a June 23 launch date in Japan.

Perhaps the biggest announcement, however, was that of One Tamriel, a change to the game that removed level restrictions. Described as an "evolution of gameplay", the change meant that there were no content barriers and that everything after the tutorial is open to the player who can choose to go where they want and play with who they want. This update, however, is coming in Autumn.
