Rend is a survival game that's trying to do things a bit differently. That's not just down to the Norse theme, the triangular shape of the map, but also down to there being mechanics in place to promote teamwork and shield players a bit from what can be a rather harsh early going in survival titles.
Frostkeep Studios has just launched the first public alpha of the game and if you're interested in the game you should sign up on the official website for a chance to join the early testing.
"Our goal at the start of this project was to continuously grow and improve Rend by gathering direct feedback from our players every step of the way," said Jeremy Wood, co-founder and CEO, Frostkeep Studios via press release. "As we lovingly craft this game with the help of our players, this project remains just as much theirs as it is ours, and this public alpha marks a significant milestone as we offer even more players around the world the opportunity to enter the world of Rend and join our community."
