We've seen quite a lot of major esports tournaments flocking to Denmark as of late, and this isn't stopping anytime soon. Valve has announced that The International 2024 will be located in Copenhagen, bringing the best Dota 2 teams from around the world to the European country to compete over what we assume will be a monster prize pool.

The International 2024 will be held at the Royal Arena in the city, and in total 16 teams will be in attendance and looking to be the one to lift the Aegis trophy at the end of the tournament. The exact attending teams will be determined throughout the ongoing 2024 season.

Further information about ticketing and schedule will be announced in the coming months, but Valve has affirmed that in the lead up to The International, we can look forward to six major tournaments around the world, including in studio and in arenas across Europe, Asia, South America, and the Middle-East. There is even a hint that the Midas Mode will return.
