The Lion King and Aladdin collection gets trailer and screens

These classic Disney games are returning in October with a ton of new features, including remastered graphics for the modern day.

Yesterday we reported on Aladdin and The Lion King getting remastered for PS4, Switch, and Xbox One - as heard via a report from GameStop Con - but now the official press release is here confirming the package, even giving us a new trailer to see what's coming.

What's more is that this also confirms that the games will be heading to PC as well, including upscaled graphics, the 'final cut' of Aladdin, and a tradeshow demo for Aladdin that hasn't been public since 1993.

Among the new features is a rewind button to go back by up to 15 seconds, as well as a level select, invulnerability, instant save states, infinite lives, and an Interactive Game Viewer, letting players view full playthroughs of a game, letting you jump in at any point.

There are special filters for visual enhancement with these classic titles too, not to mention customisable controls, bringing these into the modern age, featuring the Sega Genesis, Game Boy, and Super Game Boy releases, with The Lion King's SNES edition also thrown in there.

In terms of extras, there's a lot of behind-the-scenes content as well, including interviews, a music player, and an art gallery behind the titles, with publisher Nighthawk Interactive and developer Digital Eclipse responsible for these versions.

We can expect the package on October 29 for all platforms, and physical copies are available for $29.99 USD. While you wait though, check out the trailer and a bunch of screens down below, which should get the nostalgia pumping.
