Despite being the team to beat in the West Division of the Overwatch League over the first half of the season, the Los Angeles Gladiators struggled in the Summer Showdown, and didn't even qualify for the tournament that took place over the weekend.

Following this disappointing tournament cycle, the team has now announced that it has released a member of its roster, and stated that Lee "ANS" Seon-chang will no longer be a part of the Gladiators going forward.

"Today, we have mutually agreed to part ways with @ansansniper__.

We greatly appreciate everything he has done this season and wish him all the best!

Once a Gladiator, always a Gladiator."

As for where Ans will head to next, or likewise if the Gladiators are in the market for a replacement DPS player, that has yet to be announced.
