The Shapeshifting Detective hits PC and consoles in Q4

After finishing up The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker (read our review), FMV specialists D'Avekki Studios have been working on a game called The Shapeshifting Detective. Once more they're teaming up with Wales Interactive to bring it out on a broad range of platforms later this year.

The game offers over 1600 FMV sequences as you ask questions to try and solve the murder of Dorota Shaw. Three tarot readers are the prime suspects, but luckily you can shapeshift your way to try and pry out the answers you need. A new feature here is that you can remain silent to potentially open up new options and branches. The murderer will be randomly chosen each time you play.
