Have you ever wondered how The Sims and their pets see the world? Well, if that's a yes then you will be able to see for yourself on November 13. During a recent livestream Maxis revealed that The Sims 4 will soon be on the receiving end of a free update, and that update will add a first-person camera mode to the game.

Thanks to this addition we will be able to walk in the shoes of every person and creature in the game, otherwise playing exactly as we did before. The view itself doesn't look particularly detailed, but it is undoubtedly an interesting addition. Unfortunately, however, at this moment in time, the update will be available only to PC users - console fans are going to have to be patient.

The patch will also improve the tutorial, interface and manipulation of the terrain, and will introduce the "influencers" career as it prepares players for the next expansion, The Sims 4: Get Famous, which will be released on PC just three days later, on November 16.

"Having a fully-fledged Sims title on consoles is certainly a big deal, but sadly it pales in comparison to its superior PC counterpart."
