The Surge 2 gets a closed beta next week

You can sign up already for a chance to play Deck13's sequel ahead of release in September.

The Surge 2 is gearing up to reintroduce us to Deck13's futuristic world next month, but before then we actually have a closed beta starting on August 15, allowing around 1,000 players to try the punishing game out before release.

To get involved all you have to do is sign up on the form attached to this tweet, but if you still can't wait until then be sure to check out the brand new gameplay trailer we received at the end of July, showing the brutal sequel in action.

We actually got our hands on the game ourselves recently, and you can read our preview text too if you're eagerly awaiting your return to The Surge.
