The Surge is getting A Walk in the Park expansion

Deck 13's The Surge is getting a brand new piece of DLC in December called A Walk in the Park, coming for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and we've also received some new screenshots to give you a taste of the expansion.

"A Walk in the Park gives players a breath of fresh air by taking them to an environment that's more open and colorful, though no less deadly. CREO World is an amusement park built by CREO for its employees and their families. Forget your cravings for cotton candy though - CREO World was not spared from the disaster. The entire park is a deadly trap, where roaming rescue teams have gone insane and robotic mascots patrol freely, patiently waiting for new visitors to offer a deadly welcome," the press release explains.

This first major expansion for the game has a load of new features, including this new park setting, featuring branching paths and new secrets to find. There's also a "fearsome boss" in the park, and you can take this on with 16 new weapons, sets of armour, and implants.

Also, if you have yet to play The Surge, you can do so by getting the Complete Edition at the end of the year, which will include A Walk in the Park. For now, though, check out the screenshots of the expansion down below. Does it look like a promising piece of DLC?
