The Walker, a new game from Chinese developer Haymaker, has just been published and is available over on the PlayStation Store. The fantasy combat title plays out in virtual reality, so you're going to need a PSVR headset.
In the game, we play the distant descendant of the ancient Fangxiang family, whose mystical mix of swordsmanship and sorcery hasn't diminished through the ages. As it happens, the world needs saving from a demonic militia, so our spells and charms will likely come in handy. The Walker is set in historic Shanghai, which we can enjoy between boss fights.
The game is one of four games unveiled at last years' Chinajoy Expo as part of a partnership between Sony and Asian developers. Perp Games will also be distributing The Walker at retail later this year. A fixed date is not yet set for that version. The other three games announced at the event were Stifled, Kill X and Legion Commander - although none of them are out yet.
