The Warlock of Firetop Mountain is coming soon to Switch

Remember The Warlock of Firetop Mountain? It was the first of a series of RPG games in book form, created by Ian Livingstone and Steve Jackson all the way back in 1982. That book has since been adapted to video game form by Tin Man Games, and it's been available on Steam for two years now. Now, however, the studio has revealed they will be launching a new version of the game on Nintendo Switch, and it's coming on September 13.

This new version, The Warlock of Firetop Mountain: Goblin Scourge Edition, will cost $30€ (there's no UK price listed) but it can be bought for €24 if you pre-order. Players who invest will find "a rich interactive 3D map, a simultaneous turn-based combat system and the ability to explore Firetop Mountain with over a dozen different characters".
