Developer Ron Gilbert is famous for his point-and-click adventure games, including the massive The Secret of Monkey Island all the way back in 1990, and his latest project, Thimbleweed Park, is another adventure game, this time about two detectives investigating a mysterious murder.
After a long period of mystery surrounding when we'd be able to see the game, it finally has a proper release date, coming out on March 30 for Linux, Mac, Xbox One, and Windows. A PS4 version is also in the works, but will be released after three months of exclusivity with Microsoft. Ron Gilbert is also planning to release the game on Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android, although no release dates were given for those.
We also got a few fresh screen along with this announcement, so it's happy days for Ron Gilbert fans. Can Thimbleweed Park hit the heights of Monkey Island?
