We already knew that Call of Duty was coming to mobile devices courtesy of Tencent, and now users outside of the Chinese market have the chance to give it a go, as it seems like Activision is deploying a soft launch in the West for what's known as Call of Duty: Legends of War.

An alpha version of the Android game popped up at Google Play in Australia, and at the same time Activision opened up its official Facebook page, including the following trailer:

As shown by the very brief video itself, this new adaptation of the FPS includes staples such as the Zombies mode, and also sports a multiplayer portion allowing fans to choose from playable heroes from previous entries (yes, Price and Ghost are there).

In fact, the game is presented as a sort of greatest hits package for the franchise, featuring the best of maps, weapons, and equipment too. In terms of multiplayer, both PvP (5v5, Team Deathmatch and Frontline) and PvE (Zombies co-op) are planned.

There's no official word as of yet concerning new countries or platforms for this alpha test, even though iOS users are already craving their own CoD Mobile fix.

What do you think about those, according to Activision, "AAA console-quality graphics"?
