This War of Mine is a very different sort of war game, instead of putting you in the shoes of a heroic soldier or in command on an army it puts you in the tattered shoes of a civilian whose life is affected by the war. The rather bleak indie adventure has reached an impressive 4.5 million copies sold across all platforms (PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS) and has also managed to contribute more than $500,000 to the War Child charity through sales of DLC. The latest addition, the standalone expansion, Father's Promise, is available now on Android and iOS ($1.99).
