THQ Nordic has become quite a large publisher through the acquisition of Koch Media, and there's a few big titles to look forward to, such as Darksiders III and BioMutant. If you thought you'd see these games at E3 2018 in June, you're sorely mistaken.
THQ Nordic has announced through press release, that they'll be missing E3 completely, and instead will show off key titles at this years Gamescom expo in August and PAX West in Seattle in September.
The actual press release stipulates that they're missing the expo because they don't want to miss this year's FIFA World Cup in Russia, but... well, we suspect there are other, more business-related reasons at play. Because, well, to be honest, Austria (where THQ Nordic resides) have kind of made it a habit to miss out on the World Cup.
This, of course, doesn't completely rule out the chance that we might see something from THQ Nordic at one of the big conferences, but given the early heads up we think THQ will keep their powder dry for what's to come towards the end of the summer at Gamescom and PAX West.
