Remember when THQ Nordic declared bankruptcy and went under? They ended up selling off their franchises and Nordic Games proceeded to buy the entire firm as well as franchises such as Darksiders and MX vs ATV back in 2014.
Now THQ is rising from the ashes as Nordic Games is rebranding themselves as THQ Nordic. This was done to represent "a core approach of doing much more than 'owning' a highly competitive portfolio of IP."
The company says that they have 23 game projects in the works and 13 of them are yet to be announced officially. THQ Nordic has two internal studios at their disposal; Rainbow Studios based in Phoenix and Grimlore Games based in Munich.
Merci beaucoup, Polygon.
