Runic Games' awesome Diablo-clone Torchlight have now sold in 500 000 copies according to Shacknews. The game will probably keep selling, considering that it is now out for Mac through the newly launched Steam-version for that particular format.

At the same time, Perfect World - the Chinese developer/publisher - has bought a majority stake in Runic Games for about $8,4 million. Runic is still working on a MMO-version of Torchlight, and backup from Perfect World is probably welcome.
