Total War: Three Kingdoms will feature espionage gameplay, which Sega and The Creative Assembly have revealed in a new gameplay video. Players will be able to use spies in the upcoming historic strategy game to sneak behind enemy lines to poison, assassinate and even start a war.

Spies in Total War: Three Kingdoms can reveal smaller details, such as enemy movement, but can also bring the enemy to their knees. They can also be caught and executed, or betray you to save their own butt.

Total War: Three Kingdoms is based on The Romance of the Three Kingdoms and its more historical counterpart Records of the Three Kingdoms and launches March 7 on PC.
