The beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 was in full swing this weekend, but it seems as though players have been critical of several issues with this early version of the game. Treyarch themselves acknowledged some of those issues on Reddit, referring to an uneven framerate, long loading times in some cases, unbalanced weapons, excessive bunny hopping, and poor spawn placement.
Treyarch also asked for patience regarding two new features in the game - Free Cursor UI and Armor sets - admitting they were fully aware they would be "controversial". Lots of problems indeed, but Treyarch also reminded fans that this is exactly the point of a beta version - to find, test, and remove potential issues.
The beta for CoD: Black Ops 4 will return on August 10 at 6pm BST / 7pm CET, for both PS4 and Xbox One. PC players will get early access to a beta at the same if they pre-order the game via Battle.net, before it then opens up for one an all the following day on August 11.
