Truck to France in Euro Truck Simulator 2 next week

Next Monday you'll be able to take your truck to France in Euro Truck Simulator 2, as the Vive la France! DLC will be available for download then, the latest DLC from SCS Software.

On the official Steam page the description for the expansion is as follows: "Vive la France! is a large map expansion add-on for Euro Truck Simulator 2. Make your way through broad boulevards of industrial cities and narrow streets of rural hamlets. Enjoy French outdoors with its diverse looks and disparate vegetation from north to south. Discover famous landmarks, deliver to expansive industrial areas, navigate complex intersections and interchanges, enjoy visually unique roundabouts inspired by real locations. Transport a variety of new cargo to service new local French companies as well as connecting the region to the rest of Europe."

The expansion brings a huge map of France to explore and navigate your way around, including 20,000 km of new roads to see, not to mention the many famous landmarks, places, and French flags you'll get to see. There are also 15 new cities in the update, and countless rural villages, fields, vineyards, and much more in the scenery.

Also included is "enhanced vegetation [and] new forest ecosystems" for those of you who like to see the nature around you when in your truck's cab. There are new local companies to work for, too, and even a French toll gate system. Rounding off the update are new industries like nuclear plants and new cargoes to haul.

The expansion will cost £14 when released. Will you be taking to France?
