We recently attended a preview event for Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2, the time-bending sequel from TT Games that's heading to PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch (you can read our hands-on preview here).

During the event we grabbed a word or two with TT's head of design, Arthur Parsons, who told us about the studio's plans with regards to the Nintendo Switch version of the game.

"What we're trying to do at the minute, and this is an ambition, this is what we're attempting to do; we need to try and make sure that you can play this game with just the two Joy-Cons. So that's what we're setting out to do."

"Buy the Switch, buy the game, play co-op with the two Joy-Cons. That's the sort of lofty ambition that we've set ourselves. Obviously, there's less buttons, so it's that process that we're going through, and that's what we're hoping to achieve."

So there you have it, still to be confirmed, but TT Games is looking to deliver local co-op out of the box with controls for each player mapped to a Joy-Con controller each.

Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 is set to launch on November 17. Also, here's a picture of Rocket Raccoon and Baby Groot, because why not.

REVIEW. Written by Graham Bellars

"Each level is well built, filled to the brim with breakable objects, Minikits to find, puzzles to solve, and of course enemies to defeat."
