Turtle Beach announces Recon Chat headset

Turtle Beach has announced a new headset called the Recon Chat, compatible with both PS4 and Xbox One and featuring Turtle Beach's own SpecsFit glasses-friendly over-ear design.

The headset also comes "with a unique open ear-cup that lets you hear game audio from the TV or home entertainment system in both ears (in stereo)," according to the press release, as well as a high-sensitivity mic and a 40mm speaker so you can hear chat audio.

A 3.5mm jack means it can be easily connected both to PS4 and Xbox One controllers, and in-line controls allow adjusting of chat volume and the ability to mute the mic. Also, you can reverse the mic to have it on either ear, depending on which suits you.
