There's currently a lot of uncertainty relating to the Overwatch League, as the recently concluded deal between Blizzard and NetEase means that Overwatch 2 (and most other Blizzard products) is no longer being published and operated in China. This means that there's the question as to what will happen to the four OWL teams in the region, with several already releasing most if not all of their players ahead of the 2023 season.

While the Hangzhou Spark does still have a few members signed to the team, the organisation has now released two more individuals, following the significant releases seen during November.

It's both Kim "AlphaYi" Jun and Kim "irony" Hyeong-woo who have left the team, begging the question as to whether we'll see the remaining individuals also departing from the roster over the coming days and weeks.
