As we speculated yesterday, Ubisoft has now lifted the curtain on the 2022 Six Invitational and revealed when the premier Rainbow Six: Siege tournament will be taking place. As noted in a press release, we're told that the tournament will be held between February 7-19, and will even feature a live audience for the final few days of play.

Specifically, it will be February 17-19 that will feature a live audience, with attendees heading to the Place Bell in Montreal to catch the action as it unfolds. This will be the first time the Six Invitational has featured a live audience since the 2020 tournament.

The exact format is as follows:

  • Group Stage - February 7-11

  • Playoffs Part I - February 13-15

  • Playoffs Part II and Grand Final - February 17-19

The event itself will also boast a whopping $3 million prize of which 20 teams will be fighting over, and for fans of the main Siege game, as usual, the next year of content will be revealed during what we assume to be the latter (possibly even final) day of the tournament.
