US Charts: Lego Jurassic World and PS4 on top in July

But if you count bundles Arkham Knight would easily win out.

It was a battle of two major Warner Bros. titles in the US charts in July in the US. Lego Jurassic World came out on top, but it should be noted that if the NPD Group had counted bundled copies then Batman: Arkham Knight would have won easily. And as always it should be noted that the NPD report only includes physical retail sales.

In terms of hardware sales actual numbers are scarce, but Sony claimed the victory as PS4 recorded another month as the best-selling consoles in the States. Meanwhile, Microsoft reported a 44% year-over-year gain for Xbox One (putting at around 188-189,000 units). On the Nintendo side of things Wii U software sales are up 10% so far in 2015 compared to 2014 and 3DS is up a whopping 35% compared to 2015. The relative silence on how Wii U hardware sales are performing is likely indicative of a decline.
